What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

Working at Atlassian

Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Assuming you have eligible working rights and a sufficient time zone overlap with your team, you can choose to work remotely or return to an office as they reopen (unless it’s necessary for your role to be performed in the office). Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Job description

Atlassian is rapidly growing our Trust Program and we need hardworking & motivated people to help us get there. As a Senior Trust Analyst, you will drive the growth and expansion of how we enable customer trust.

You will be working closely with Trust, Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Operational and SRE teams, internal IT, and Field Operations and Go-To-Market Teams advising on improving security practices, broad changes to our internal processes, product features, and customer engagement. You will never have a dull moment as you will answer questions on how to enable trust and confidence in an online world – a question that has really not been solved yet.

More about you

Things move fast in cyber security and we’re looking for individuals who can move just as fast, be flexible and adapt to change. To be successful, you thrive on experimentation, ambiguity and open work.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Make a real difference to Atlassian security, privacy, reliability and compliance;
  • Tackle how we interact with our customers to remove trust as a blocker for customer acquisition, customer migration and long term customer retention.

On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:

  • 5+ years experience working in software and / or cloud security;
  • An ability to effectively discuss security trade-offs;
  • Experience with Governance, Security, Risk and Compliance domain areas;
  • Customer-facing engagement experience or consulting experience;
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

It’s phenomenal, but not required, if you have:

  • Experience working with compliance, privacy, IT, networking or related functions;
  • Experience in a large scale cloud business.

More about our team

We are a focused group committed to protecting the security of our customers and their data. We value diverse thinking and creativity, so we can all learn from each other and do interesting things. You will be working with the whole Atlassian team to improve our Trust Program and story.
