SIDES is one of the leading providers of restaurant and e-commerce software in Europe. We develop solutions for all restaurant processes to facilitate the daily routine in restaurant operations through automation, from individual restaurants to large chains. Our in-house developed all-in-one POS system enables our customers to manage their resources such as manpower, time, energy as well as their delivery portals, merchandise and branch management, and much more independently and profitably. We are successfully represented in 5 countries and our European expansion is set to more than double in the coming years.

Tasks
The purpose of your work is to make the life of our customers simply more beautiful. This includes a more appealing interface, easier handling, higher standards and quality for the gastronomes in their daily work. We want to digitalise the catering industry and automate processes in order to direct the focus of the caterers back to the essentials of their profession – good food and happy customers.
In achieving this, this is what you are building with us:
- You will create new designs of our software interfaces based on the deliverables and wireframes created in the UX process
- You will be part of our design team and will work hand-in-hand with the front-end, product, sales and marketing team to redesign our software
- In line with our rebranding and during the expansion you will design graphical elements for our website
- For customer projects of our small agency division, you will ensure a clear corporate identity in all online channels of our customers (branding, style guides and CI development)
Requirements
What you add to our team:
- You gained several years of experience as UI Designer, ideally in the gastronomy industry
- Your exceptionally good sense of aesthetics, as well as an interest in current trends and developments, set you apart
- With the usual graphics programs, such as Adobe Xd, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator you are well aversed
- You speak German and English fluently
- As a plus, you are familiar with WordPress, HTML and CSS
