This is a remote position.

My Cloud Crew is an Australian boutique cloud staffing firm founded in 2017. We hire seriously talented work-from-home Filipino staff to work with our Australian and US clients. Work remotely while travelling or from the comforts of your home office.
We are looking for a talented Junior Content Writer to create written content across various topics and industries, both long-form and short-form. Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional with impeccable English grammar and syntax, who has had some experience writing for foreign clients. They should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers, be up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends, and have a general understanding of the role content plays in digital marketing as a whole.
Responsibilities
  • Write long-form content (blog posts, ebooks, brochures, etc.)
  • Write short-form content (product descriptions, social media captions, web content, etc.)
  • Take direction from a content marketing manager on initiatives to achieve business targets
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to produce high quality content
  • Develop content calendar for clients
  • Edit, proofread and improve content
  • Publish content on various platforms if required
  • Optimize content using SEO and Google Analytics
  • Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence
  • Receive customer feedback and generate new ideas
Requirements
  • Working PC with minimum RAM of 4GB
  • Suitable home-office environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress or other Content Management Software
  • Basic understanding of web publishing requirements
  • Hands on experience with basic SEO (e.g. keyword research)
  • Can meet tight deadlines and pays attention to details
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Can write articles in short and long forms
  • Degree in marketing, journalism or relevant field
  • Experience in social media management is a plus
  • Basic graphic design skills are a plus
