Routefusion is the first global-banking-as-a-service company founded by software engineers for software engineers. Routefusion's API enables neo-banks, payroll providers, platforms, and marketplaces to begin offering cross-border payments, local in country bank accounts, and connection into local payment systems to their customers. Role Overview

 We are looking for an Implementation Specialist to guide, support, and facilitate the technical customer journey throughout their integration into the Routefusion ecosystem. This role is akin to a sales engineer with a focus on the success of the customers implementation of the Routefusion product. You will work with high-level customer leaders to define objectives and requirements for solution pathways.

In this role, you should be able to work independently, as well as within a team-oriented environment. You should have excellent organization, problem-solving, and strong communication skills. As an Implementation Specialist, you should be comfortable interacting with multiple internal organizations and clearly define the scope of each communication.



  • Listen, inquire, and ask questions to fully understand and define entire project scope

  • Have a strong understanding of API standards, such as REST and GraphQL

  • Document technical product flows for data, funds, and compliance

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan for each project

  • Manage and facilitate the entire customer journey with measurable and repeatable results

  • Provide consistent and accurate implementation project status updates

  • Monitor progress and make adjustments and/or raise flags as needed

  • Document Project Management stages and risks


Ideal Candidate

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Implementation / project management

  • Proven experience in software development and codebase management

  • Knowledge of Javascript, Node.js, HTTP, Postgres

  • Familiarity with technical tools such as GraphQL, Postman, Notion, Mezmo, Lucid Chart

  • Ability to provide examples of customer experience use cases in measurable and repeatable ways

  • Experience working remote

  • Be willing to travel (1x-4x annually)

  • Listens and responds positively to external customers, partners and colleagues at all levels while being transparent with all communications

  • Prioritizes tasks according to customer objectives and can pursue several objectives simultaneously

  • Proactively works with stakeholders to mitigate risks and overcome obstacles

  • Promotes a safe environment for work and comply with the general policy of the company
