Job summary
Do you have passion for hiring and developing the best? AWS Talent Acquisition (TA) is seeking an experienced Sr Program Manager (PM) who will be responsible for the AWS Global Bar Raiser and Interview Experience (BRIX) program. This role will work closely with AWS recruiting and business leaders to drive global initiatives and experiments to raise the bar on interviewing processes and candidate experience.
Working collaboratively with senior business and TA leaders, the role will own the ongoing scaling and sustainability of this program and collaborate with global peers to identify opportunities to drive quality and efficiency at a global level. While driving global programs, the role will also own developing technology, training, and engagement initiatives for country, role, and organization specific needs.
This is a critical leadership role, requiring expertise in influencing at all levels and multiple geographies, proven experience taking ideas and turning them into strategic plans and driving execution. The successful candidate will have long lasting impact on the success of the talent acquisition team and ultimately, the AWS business. The candidate must have a track record of managing remote stakeholders and project delivery teams with strong backbone and bias for action to remove barriers to project success. The candidate will have the ability to implement big ideas, influence senior leadership, have exceptionally strong communication both written and verbal, and have led cross-regional initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven track record of developing and using data mechanisms to drive decision making and measure impact
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence others while working in a cross functional environment, including senior members of the business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that convey complex ideas in a simplified manner
• Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
• Bias for action, excellent attention to detail, and relentless commitment to follow-through
• Ability to multi-task and handle various projects simultaneously to drive timely results
• Ability to see around corners thinking about both the big picture and individual needs
• Proven effective consulting skills, with an ability to influence a wide variety of audiences – technical and business partners, HR functions, and all levels of employees
