Who you are:

Platform Science’s Advanced Technology Group (ATG) is hiring a Technical Project Manager focused on evaluating, planning, and executing strategic initiatives for the company's future-focused roadmap. Reporting to the Manager of Technical Product Management in ATG, and working with a team of passionate colleagues, you will be involved in shaping the future of our company. We are founded on the mission of making transportation smart.

In this role, you will face technical, resource allocation, and project execution challenges as you incubate and graduate next-generation transportation solutions into the Platform Science PMO. You are able to “talk shop” with both internal and external customers, as well as understand the technical and operational efforts that go into integrating and launching software solutions on our Transportation-focused platform.

What you’ll do:

  • Work directly with external partners and internal technical teams to create and test proofs of concept.
  • Benchmark and measure KPIs associated with ATG initiatives, and propose ways to improve them.
  • Leverage communication and project management methods and tools to engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply an understanding of our partnership strategy to your primary mission of delivering valuable and viable programs to the business.
  • Work closely with our ATG Product Managers, Program managers and Engineers to rapidly develop proof-of-concepts and analyze viability.
  • Identify strategic areas of opportunity to improve the platform’s reach,  champion internal business needs, and influence partner business decisions. 

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience project managing software and/or hardware projects.
  • Experience in Enterprise SaaS integrations, preferably in a logistics setting.
  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills; ability to balance engagements with multiple partners, each with challenging puzzles, while making every partner feel appreciated and supported.
  • Exceptional communication skills that allow you to bridge the gap of teams and partners across the globe. 
  • Comfort in interacting with both technical and business stakeholders; familiar in high level technical and commercial concepts of a SaaS business.
  • Exhibits a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work in a hyper-growth environment. In other words, roll up your sleeves and thrive in a fast-paced start-up.
