What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

The Threat Intelligence and Operations Team at Block is designed as a pre-breach/preventative intelligence and vulnerability research resource for Block. Through the discovery of key intelligence requirements across the ecosystem, the Threat Intel team can deliver highly specialized information to all identified stakeholders. Additionally the team will support the vulnerability process through targeted research, reverse engineering and malware analysis.

You will:

  • Work directly with identified stakeholders on key intelligence requirements
  • Deliver scheduled reports and finished intelligence products
  • Proactively research threat actors, emerging trends, vulnerabilities, and identified risks to all business units
  • Develop new relationships with unidentified stakeholders
  • Communicate, document, prioritize, and drive security concerns to completion
  • Influence business risk decisions across the organization
  • Work with a dynamic, fast-paced, and geographically-distributed team of experts

You should have:

  • An understanding of common malware, threat actors and their TTPs
  • Background in detailed report writing
  • Strong knowledge of risk countermeasures and compensating controls
  • Facility with empathetic interpersonal interactions via video conference
  • A thoughtful approach to technical analysis and ability to quickly assess new platforms
  • Five years of demonstrated security, intelligence & risk management experience working in a technology-focused company
