Meta is looking for Strategy & Operations Planning Lead to join our Global Scaled Solutions team within the Recruiting organization. Our team supports the key priorities of Recruiting organization with program management & change leadership, process & quality expertise as well as learning experiences and production capabilities. Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Meta’s success. We have a world-class team working together to help drive our ambitions and scale to the next level. We are looking for a strategist who can help us build solutions at scale in a complex federated ecosystem. This role partners very closely with key stakeholders across a set of Recruiting business units and within centralized Recruiting Global Scaled Solutions (GSS). In this role, you will be expected to help define the strategy and direction for our larger organization, plan and prioritize across competing goals and projects. You will play a key role in shaping and executing programmatic strategies while serving as a strategic partner across our main Recruiting and Engineering stakeholders.

Strategy & Operations Planning Lead Responsibilities:

  • Establish deep and healthy relationships across Recruiting organization to critically understand and prioritize Recruiting’s largest performance gaps to create scalable solutions grounded on data
  • Help shape organization strategy and vision, establish shared goals, and work with cross-functional partners and leaders across the organization
  • Drive roadmapping and prioritization across the team’s domains
  • Plan, establish and oversee delivery of organization-level goals, ensuring alignment with our vision and strategy
  • Own strategy, execution and maintenance of organizational portfolio, ensuring visibility of key initiatives and effective prioritization and allocation of resources
  • Define and analyze key metrics to manage portfolio health, mitigate risks, demonstrate impact and enable continuous improvement
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks and changes by effectively optimizing scope, schedule and resources accordingly
  • Convey a data-driven story to Recruiting audiences around key business insights, influence Recruiting teams’ priorities ensuring alignment with key business needs
  • Apply your expertise in program and change management, process and quality excellence and learning and development to inform and influence key business decisions for the Recruiting organization
  • Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate portfolio status, issues, and risks to stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of OKR and goaling frameworks
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or technology portfolio and program management
  • Experience navigating trade-offs utilizing data, drawing conclusions, and defining recommended actions across technical and non-technical groups
  • Experience working in matrix organization navigating competing priorities
  • Portfolio planning and management experience for sizeable teams and organizations
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience with emphasis on strategy, organizational design, business administration
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, and experience managing complex stakeholder relationships
  • 8+ years of indirect leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Design Thinking certification (e.g., LUMA, IDEO)
  • Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP)
  • Experience working in a large global tech company with a matrix organization and with exposure to Recruiting teams
