Leaders at FTD.com, Barefoot Dreams, Ilia Beauty, and Thinx use Nacelle to eliminate the typical maintenance costs and infrastructure complexities related to going headless while accelerating their time-to-market. Unlike traditional commerce solutions, our product is built on event-driven and elastic core technology optimized for flexibility, performance, and customization.
Nacelle is an early stage, venture-backed, fully remote company. Recently closing our Series A round for $18m, our institutional investors include Index Ventures, Inovia and more. We also have raised from notable industry angels including leaders from Shopify Plus, Attentive, and Klaviyo.
The Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Product Marketing executive with an entrepreneurial spirit to join the Nacelle Leadership team. You will report directly to the CEO while building a world-class Product Marketing department.
As SVP of Product Marketing, you will collaborate and strategize with Product, Demand Generation, Design, Partnerships, and Sales. You will leverage market research and competitor analysis to craft the right positioning and messaging for Nacelle. You will use your technical expertise to foster developer evangelism and drive developer led opportunities. Your knack for using data and measuring performance will empower you to make big, bold decisions while ramping Nacelle’s growth.
Responsibilities Include:
- Build a world class Product Marketing department
- Increase developer driven opportunities
- Increase sales win rates
- Perform market, customer and competitive research
- Lead new product and feature launches
- Create and deliver differentiated messaging which communicates value to the merchant and merchant engineers
- Collaborate with Product and Product Engineering to guide strategy
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of VP product marketing experience
- 4+ years at a venture backed technology startup
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Direct experience with modern technology and engineering concepts
- Direct experience with product led growth
