SUMMARY
 
We're looking for a skilled Technical Account Manager who will be responsible for delivering data solutions to our clients.  VK Technical Account Managers serve as liaisons between our technology team, sales team, and VK clients.  As a member of the team you will be responsible for managing and maintaining key customer relationships while monitoring the technical aspects of customer accounts and ensuring successful project delivery. As the technical account manager, you will be the technical expert and trusted advisor to your portfolio of customers.

CORE RESPONSIBLITIES

    • Establish credibility with VK customers, reflecting deep knowledge of VK products and customer use cases
    • Advocate for customer needs, develop relationships with key customer stakeholders, and monitor customer accounts to ensure performance
    • Work with the Customer Success team to identify near and long-term priorities and define the associated engagement plan
    • Centralize the technical information about clients and participate in development of customer success and account growth strategies with the other members of the account team
    • Play an active role contributing to the maintenance and growth of key customer relationships
    • Perform requirements analysis and translate client needs into project requirement documentation and deliverables
    • Assist with project design sessions, coordinate with project managers and developers, review and document project work, and lead client status updates
    • Ensure project deliveries arrive on time and meet requirements
    • Ensure incoming support inquiries are handled in timely fashion and with a high degree of customer service
    • Responsible for routine reporting to client(s) and internal stakeholders, including potential issues or risks, status updates, and overall project timelines
    • Provide internal stakeholders with customers’ feedback to help identify potential new opportunities
    • Understand simple data analysis techniques, including ability to work with data in Excel or similar programs to query data, identify trends, and create summary reports
    • Work with Quality Assurance analysts to identify and track metrics that are important to continued project quality and accuracy
    • Participate in weekly exchanges with sales and engineering teams
    • Flexibility to travel to meetings and industry events and conferences 
    • Other duties as required

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • BS degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, General Business or a related field; or equivalent work experience
    • Previous experience in client facing support role
    • Technical data aptitude coupled with a strong understanding of the business value big data contributes to solving complex problems
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Good listener with ability to think on feet
    • Self-motivated along with ability to work in a team environment
    • Passion for technology solutions and complex problem solving
    • Highly organized with the ability to adhere to strict schedules
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, and other BI and data analysis tools a plus
    • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and/or JIRA a plus
    • Knowledge of languages such as Python, Java, C++ a plus
    • This position may be fully remote in the U.S. or hybrid in the Northeast Ohio area
    • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance (REQUIRES US CITIZENSHIP)
