What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

Are you passionate about data and excited to work across various Facebook products including Instagram and WhatsApp? You have an opportunity to transform how each product and team across the company achieves consistency in measuring business metrics.We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to govern a set of business ecosystem metrics, such as advertiser & business value metrics, that are shared across the Ads & Business Products group and the FACEBOOK Family of Apps. This is a high visibility role to work directly with leaders and data scientists across product teams.The ideal candidate will have a background in a technical field, strong program management skills and operational experience working in a complex cross-functional environment. You are methodical, a self-starter, and passionate about metrics.

Technical Program Manager, Business Ecosystem Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence across various product groups
  • Lead regular topline metric reviews, regression mitigations across orgs and teams, (defensive analytics include processes & tooling for catching & understanding headwinds)
  • Drive alignment and regular touch points across Facebook Family of Apps on adopting goal metrics, monitoring, goal setting, and data infrastructure alignment
  • Lead regular reviews with leadership teams and upwards communication
  • Drive adoption of business ecosystem metrics across organizations
  • Scale best practice processes around diagnostics, reporting, defense
  • Drive adoption of common logging frameworks across teams and apps
  • Drive cross-team/cross-org alignment across various functions and organize input of requests to update metric definitions for simplification and consistency, triaging of these requests across organizations
  • Support the process of metric updates after intake of proposals from partner teams, and communicating results across organizations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Communication skills with the experience drafting executive briefings and present to a leadership audience
  • Solid cross-functional collaboration experience working with teams outside the immediate organization
  • Intuitive and analytical about data. Experience with data-driven experiments (such as A/B tests)
  • Organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, exposure to large-scale systems and experience working directly with Engineering and Product teams
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and demonstrate critical thinking capabilities
  • Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different geographic locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience defining new metrics and build dashboards to support them
