Technical Writer
Key Role:
Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with disseminating sophisticated or technical concepts in written format
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of design software or page-layout software
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Associate’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Security, including ATO and PIA documentation
- Experience with creating online help guides
- Ability to independently create content as requested and synthesize answers and explanations by reading updates entered by software engineers and project managers from a tracking or change management system
- Bachelor’s degree

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.
Compensation:
The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 55,000 to 75,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
