Who are we?

Digital Theatre+ is a web based Education product used by over 4 million students in over 3000 schools, colleges and universities around the world to teach and study Theatre, Drama and English.

Currently a unique product in the education space and with ongoing investment, we are growing our team across the UK and US and operate with the spirit of a highly entrepreneurial scale up . We believe the arts are for everyone, not the few.

The EdTech industry is an exciting and expanding market and we are uniquely situated to help shape how educational institutions use Digital Content to enhance a student’s learning experience in the digital age (both in the classroom and remotely).

Digital Theatre has adopted a remote-first working model and culture to make remote work feel natural and normal as we believe remote-first working brings benefits to our customers, employees and business superior to traditional office based working. For this reason, we welcome applications across the whole of the UK. Please only apply for this role if you are eligible to work in the UK.

Why are we hiring a Product Designer now?

In 2021, Digital Theatre+ was rebuilt, with support from external partners, on a modern technology stack.  Now, looking ahead we’re seeking to refine and improve the user experience to put teaching and education at the heart of every decision we make.

Our development team comprises front-end, back-end and full stack engineers and a product manager.  We have long recognised the value of Product Design and are now in a position to confidently hire someone to fill this much needed and critical role in our team.
