What Is Employee Growth Rate & Why Is It Important?

The Business Marketing Research and Intelligence (BMRI) team functions as a center of excellence for research and insights in Global Business Marketing (GBM). The team is a strategic partner uncovering human truths through research and analysis, marketing intelligence, and actionable insights, to build concrete knowledge to inform marketing and sales strategy and activations. BMRI team seeks a Consumer Researcher to do quantitative research specializing in consumer behavior, with expertise in quantitative study design and analysis. Your research will focus on leveraging survey data sets to uniquely describe consumer behavior shifts. You will work closely with other insights functions across Meta (e.g. marketing, product, communications) to research and communicate trends in consumer behavior and the media landscape focusing on the role of Meta. The candidate must have a deep knowledge of sampling, global research fielding, survey design, tracking analyses, statistical analyses, and demonstrated experience working cross functionally with internal partners and experience managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will be an expert in consumer behavior, delivering results with global cross-functional teams, and be self-motivated.

Vertical Consumer Insights Researcher Responsibilities:

  • Apply your expertise in research design, analysis and the presentation of data to uncover unique actionable insights around trends and shifts on people’s behavior across industries
  • Define insightful hypotheses and identify methods to leverage data sets to validate hypotheses and enhance third party research work with proprietary data
  • Build meaningful cross-functional relationships with our partners around the globe and help activate our research to internal and external audiences (e.g., through industry conferences)
  • Optimize and develop scalable sales-ready outputs that productize survey-based data delivery

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience communicating complex analysis and results to any audience
  • Have a keen eye for and focus on impact and willingness to prioritize research projects based on team and company priorities
  • Experience in process, project and vendor management skills with successful experience partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in hands-on data analysis in SPSS, R or other similar statistical packages
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research, and track record of using data to make arguments
  • 5+ years’ experience in consumer insights (or related) research
  • Experience in research methodologies with expertise in at least one technical field (e.g. Statistics, Survey Methodology, Experimental Design, etc.)
  • Track record of translating research into actionable insights for the marketing and advertising industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in doing research in multiple markets at the same time
  • An advanced degree (such as a PhD in a relevant social science or quantitative field)
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry
