The selected incumbent will need to reside in ID, OR, or WA.
AZ, CA, CO, NV, UT, or WA will also be considered.
Compensation Data
Total Cash Compensation (TCC) range for this position is from $80,300-120,400 per year based on experience and qualifications.
The low end of the TCC range includes base pay of $64,200 annual and performance-based incentives of $16,100 at 100% of sales targets. The high end of the TCC reflects base pay of $96,300 annual and performance-based incentives of $24,100 at 100% of sales targets. Incentive payments are not guaranteed and are governed by the terms of the applicable sales bonus plan which is subject to change at Allstate’s discretion.
Overview
The Virtual Sales Consultant is responsible for owning the market to which they are assigned and achieving sales objectives including profitable growth and increased market share via tenured and independent agencies, in a work at home setting. This role supports National General, an Allstate Company, which represents Allstate, Encompass, and National General household brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete market analysis to identify gaps in production, profitability, and retention
- Develop annual strategic plans with key agency partners
- Hold virtual consultations via zoom, with the agency key person, to determine production and compensation goals, explore growth opportunities and resolve roadblocks
- Recruit new agency partners
- Work in tandem with Agency Process Specialist to train and support new and tenured agencies
Preferred Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of related experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- P&C License
- Certifications – CIC, CPRM
Functional Skills
- Insurance sales or sales management
- Interpersonal, including engaging and influencing agency key persons
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and Zoom
- Strong change agility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Organization and process management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work remotely with moderate supervision
- Effective individual contributor and team player
