Interview: Danielle Greason on Going Remote in Costa Rica
We’ve met so many interesting remote workers from around the world, and so often their remote careers give them the freedom to travel and live a location independent lifestyle. We want to share their stories with you.
In the Going Remote series we interview successful remote workers and business owners across the globe to give you insights into what’s possible with a remote career. Our guests will provide inspiration, tips and advice for anyone interested in working remotely and being location independent.
Our very first guest is Danielle Greason, founder of Greason Media and VA Lifestyle Design.
Danielle, along with her husband and young family, packed up their bags and left Australia in 2011 in search of ‘spaciousness’, new life experiences and the ability to enjoy quality time together as a family. They settled in Costa Rica and Danielle decided to put her self-taught internet marketing skills to good use working remotely for employers and providing online business support. Much to Danielle’s surprise, this proved very successful as a way of generating a decent income in a relatively short period of time. Her hard work and tenacity paid off and before they knew it the Greason family were living the dream and enjoying the location independent lifestyle they had longed for.
We interviewed Danielle recently while she was visiting family in Brisbane, Australia.
